False Creek Community Centre is located on the beautiful Granville Island and overlooks the waterfront. Both our Tyee Hall and Lind Hall are suitable spaces for your special day depending on the size of your guest list.

Fitness Centre

Check out our fitness centre that has a generous amount of fitness equipment, functional training space, designated stretching area and amenities that will meet the needs of everyone!

Zumba and Zumba Gold on Wednesdays

Wednesdays,  6:30 PM-7:30 PM

Granville Island Water Park 

Enjoy the Water Park for free during the summer months on Granville Island, next to the False Creek Community Centre. Come and join us at the children’s park and grass area to relax and enjoy the spray park and water slide!

Water Park 2026 Update:

Temporarily closed.

Granville Island’s Splash Park operates automatically, which contravenes the City of Vancouver’s current Level Two Water Restrictions.

CMHC are working on a new user activated system and hope to have that in place this summer.

The water slide, which does not contravene the water restrictions, will open 7 days a week with full activities and staff,  Friday, June 26, 2026.
